We are pleased to be offering at public auction Part II of the Living Estate of Dolores Wettach Williams from Putney, Vermont. Dolores Wettach was a former fashion model and actress, and the former wife of baseball great and Hall of Famer Ted Williams. Dolores anad Ted were married from 1968-1972 and raised two children together: their late son, John Henry Williams, and their daughter, Claudia Williams. This sale is a virtual treasure trove of memorabilia from one of America’s biggest sports celebrity families. Both Dolores and Ted enjoyed very successful professional careers and became one of America’s All-American celebrity families of their time. Dolores was a successful cover girl and professional model for the 1950’s-1970’s, and Ted was without any question one of baseball’s greatest players and greatest sportsmen of all time, as well as a New England icon.
